Shortcut Keys
Here are the shortcut keys and their meanings:
  • General
    • F1 - Help (Opens the help dialog.)
    • Ctrl+O - Options (Brings up the options dialog)
  • Tabs
    • Ctrl+M - My Tweets tab (Brings up a new tab (or the current tab) that contains your own latest tweets)
    • Ctrl+D - Direct Messages tab (Brings up a new tab (or the current tab) that contains your own latest direct messages)
    • Ctrl+R - Replies Tab (Brings up a new tab (or the current tab) that contains the latest replies to you)
    • Ctrl+I - Friends Tab (Brings up a new tab that contains the merged list of all the selected users' tweets)
  • Actions
    • F5 - Refresh (Refreshes the current tab.)
    • Ctrl+F - Follow (Follows the user. Applicable only if currently on a specific user's tweet page.)
    • Ctrl+U - Unfollow (Stops following the user. Applicable only if currently on a specific user's tweet page.)
    • Ctrl+P - Profile (Opens the profile tab for the selected user.)
    • Ctrl+F4 - Close (Closes the selected tab.)
    • Tab Double-click - Close (Closes the selected tab.)

Sending Tweets
To send a tweet, type your text into the textbox and press the "Enter" button.

Sending Direct Messages

To send a direct message, in the textbox type the letter 'd' and a space ' ', then the name of the user you wish to send this to, and finally the text of the message and press the "Enter" button. It should look something like this:

          d mikehall Hi, Mike! I freakin love Bitter!

Sending Replies

To send a reply, in the textbox type the at sign '@' then the name of the user you wish to send this to, and finally the text of the message and press the "Enter" button. It should look something like this:

          @mikehall Seriously, it's the best ever!
