After Twitter changed some things, Bitter was offline for a few days, but it’s back and logging in. There’s also a little thing called list support in there for ya. It’s not what you might say “fully featured” as far as you can’t add or remove people to/from lists, but you can open pre-existing lists. We’ll get that other stuff later on.

People seemed to really want spell checking, so I thought I should finally get to it. What do you think?

I’ve been working on a new way to do tracing (logging) in Bitter. I know this isn’t a fun feature for the regular, but it’s definitely fun for me as the developer. Getting to architect how the whole app traces… mmm… good stuff.

Been working on a new feature suggested by a user. He wanted an intellisense type of feature for when you’re typing in Twitter usernames with the @ symbol. It’s turned out to not be that difficult and is pretty useful. Look for it in v1.7 coming soon.

Recently I’ve been working on getting an installer going for Bitter. It’s one issue that’s existed for a long time. You can’t download and run from IE. It’ll error out with a .NET Security error. You can download it to a folder and run it from that folder, but you can’t do the run option. Anyway, this installer will fix all that.
